I'd just like to add...
In my life so far there are more than a few accomplishments I can be proud of, ike running the NYC marathon, or having profoundly touched someone's life--an opportunity my work as a psychoanalyst often affords. But what matters is not achievement per se, but an ongoing commitment to relationships that are meaningful to me--with friends, family, partners, by fccusing on getting along rather than on wanting to be right.
