A little about me...
I love the City, restaurants, new neighborhoods, and am an avid museum member and theatergoer. I try and read the New York Times every day, and always have a novel or mystery going. My vacation this summer was doing just the opposite -- hiking every day in the country and swimming in a beautiful lake. I am pretty social and like going out with others and entertaining. I am a good listener and love to dance when I get the chance.

About the one I'm looking for...
I value a man who listens to me and makes me think ... in fact a good conversation is the best aphrodisiac. I also love to be introduced to new things whether it is a new restaurant, neighborhood, book, or idea. An important trait is the ability to communicate (or at least the attempt to communicate) what you are feeling and being able to compromise on some things.

I'd just like to add...
I think the essence of a good relationship is honesty and the ability to pay attention to your partner's behavior, body language, as well as words. My children (who are in their 20's and do not live with me) are very important to me and always will be, but I would like to have a relationship with a man which is a primary one in which we are focused on one another. A sense of playfulness and ability to laugh are key.
