A little about me...
I am passionate about my relationship with my daughters and sons-in-law -- more than anything, family is important to me. Since I recently retired (July 2010), I am passionate about living the remainder of my life to the fullest -- enjoying the little things as well as the big: family, friends, food, wine, travel, golf, nature in all its forms, spectator sports, physical activity and exercise, reading, art, movies.

About the one I'm looking for...
My wife of 37 years died five years ago, and I am looking for someone who is thoughtful, caring and compassionate, intelligent and well-informed, independent, and politically liberal or moderate. Traits that are important to me include a sense of humor, patience, self confidence, and a tolerance of different cultures and lifestyles. Deal breakers include racism, arrogance, judgementalness and meanspirtedness.

I'd just like to add...
I like being irreverent from time to time, and love chocolate, the ocean, thunderstorms, snow, watching sports, playing golf, and any and all animals (but especially dogs). I am good humored, friendly and outgoing, but like most people, I need a bit of alone time as well. I like to travel, love good food and wine, and am committed to staying fit.
