A little about me...
I love visiting different places, getting to know about many people, experiencing other cultures, appreciating the beauty of different geographical locations and tasting various foods. I gravitate toward the ocean and mountains as favorite spots to travel and relax. One of my favorite locations is Alaska (geographically, culturally and gastronomically, but not necessarily politically). I very much enjoy visiting historical properties and homes.

At home, I am fond of antiques, cooking, reading, painting, nature walks, gardening and just sitting in front of my fireplace with a good wine.

My tastes in music are quite eclectic, from Otis Redding, to Etta James, to Paul Winter Consort, to Noisettes and Aerosmith. Handel's Messiah makes me cry.

Love going to the theatre, listening to the philharmonic classical series and dinner at nice restaurants. I absolutely do not get along with hunters or those who enjoy hooking poor fish. hey guys, I just don't get that!

I consider giving back to one’s community extremely important, would love to meet someone who volunteers or contributes time and resources to others. I am an independent spirit but always considerate of another individual’s feelings.

About the one I'm looking for...
I look forward to spending time with a true gentleman who loves life and learning, family, people and animals, is positive, professional, independent (financially and otherwise), and refined, with a great laugh and fun sense of humor. Love a guy who likes to smile!

I'd just like to add...
Dining and/or having cocktails overlooking a scenic vista, in a quiet spot to hold a conversation would be a great choice. At home, I love to cook for family and friends, and enjoy others culinary creations. Antiquing, museums and drives in the country are favorites.

Love visiting different places, experiencing other cultures, tasting various foods, antiquing and meeting people. I gravitate toward unpopulated ocean spots (Tofino, BC, a favorite) and mountains in Taos.

Sitting by the fireplace with good wine, all animals, blossoming flowers, health spas, watercolor painting, seeing my staff or son accomplish great things,museums, theater, classical music, oceans, walks in the woods, family events, are just a few...
