A little about me...
After a long marriage I’ve been a widow for 12 years. During this time I have had a few relationships but none that has “stuck”. While I have been on the occasional lookout for someone special I have also concentrated on the quiet pleasures of learning to live alone.
I’m an easy-going, friendly person. In general I take good care of myself: I exercise by attending classes and walking, mostly (I confess) because I fully understand that it is the key to stay healthy so I can enjoy all the other stuff. Same with cooking – I do enjoy planning and preparing good meals, especially for others – maybe not so much for just me.
Of all the accomplishments in my life that I’m most proud of, it would have to be my two children. They have grown into kind and loving adults and both have beautiful families of their own. I have three sweet grandchildren and I just don’t see them often enough. They’re far away in MI and MA and oh how I wish they were right here in Vermont!
At this time in my life I think my main goal is to learn that I have so much to be grateful for and to be aware of that fact each and every day.

About the one I'm looking for...
I’m looking for someone who is educated, funny and well groomed. No doubt about it: the way to my heart is through a sense of humor. If you enjoy outings to dinner, concerts, the Flynn, lectures, a game of bridge, and an afternoon kayak trip on the LaPlatte– all that is a plus. I’m also looking for someone who is generous in spirit. I’m not referring to money, but to a general outgoing, positive outlook on life.
