A little about me...
A very poor Buddhist farmer, in a very poor country, finds a beautiful horse in his garden. His neighbors say, “what riches, what luck.” The farmer says, “ Maybe yes, maybe no.” The farmer's son tries to catch the horse and is kicked and crippled for life. “How terrible, what bad luck.” “Maybe yes, maybe no,” says the farmer. Then the lord of the land comes looking for his horse and to punish the village takes all the able bodied young men off to war, where they are killed, all except the farmer’s son, who was crippled.
So here I am at one of those “maybe yes, maybe no” places. I'd say I've been around the block, but that might just mean I'm still looking for a parking place. ;-)
I wrote humor for public radio. Did community theater until I was professionalized enough to have more than full time jobs. Coached 21 state championship high school cross-country ski teams, over three different schools and two different states (at least 2 championships at each).
