A little about me...
My passion is my home and its location. I live in the family summer-now winterized-cottage on the edge, really, of the shore on an island in Casco Bay. I'm an artist, a retired art teacher, with another life-long passion for writing. Working full-time as an assistant teacher in elementary school on the. island. Pretty content but humor is so key to who I am that I am getting tired of laughing at my own jokes. I am divorced. He was very funny but the divorce wasn't really. I don't feel, look, or act my age. I don't know if that's good or bad but I thought I should mention that.

About the one I'm looking for...
Of course the sense of humor plays heavily in who I might like to spend time with. I love to go out to dinner/lunch/breakfast. Not much opportunity for that on the island, especially in the winter. I used to ski, sail, and would still if I had th .e chance. I love swimming in cold and warm waters. I like to fish but not hunt. I read a lot, watch some but not much television. Classical and country music are my tastes. Quite of an odd coupling there.

I'd just like to add...
Love dogs. I've had Springer Spaniels. Miss those boys. I have nothing against cats but I am allergic to them. I can not comment on what the ingredients of a good relationship are because if I knew I might have tried dating before this.
