A little about me...
This is definitely a first for me. But I’ve decided that finding a friend is worth overcoming any reluctance about putting myself “out there”. I was married (and divorced) when I was young and stupid. Found the love of my life many years ago, but our paths diverged. Have been devoted to caring for parents (now deceased) and career (still very much alive). I came to Maine nine years ago after sojourns in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virginia. Much of my time is devoted to a rather demanding position as a public administrator, so my time away is very important. I am happiest when learning/discovering something new, exploring with camera in hand, playing music with friends, practicing Qi Gong, and watching the first snowfall of the season. And I do believe in magic - we just have to be open to it!
I am independent and low maintenance, but extremely supportive and caring of others (I try to be there for anyone who needs me).
Finally: My favorite movies are "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes", "Ran", and ? (still to be seen).

About the one I'm looking for...
A sense of silly is mandatory! And an open mind and interest in esoteric conversation, quiet time, new experiences, exploring, traveling, music and cats are high on the priority list. First and foremost, I would like a friend. (Of course, I’m still reaching for the moon in the water...).

I'd just like to add...
Not into motercycles, racing, hunting, and camping. Might reconsider everything but hunting.
