OK - the last two are definitely true!

Family and friends are very important to me; they describe me as kind, caring, fun, honest, thoughtful and giving. I also think it's important to treat others the way you want to be treated.

About the one I'm looking for...
What really attracts me is an intelligent man with a sense of humor who easily engages in good conversation. I like a man who is sharp witted and makes me laugh; someone who can dish it out and can take it back. And while I am a modern, independent woman; I’m also a bit old fashioned - I’m looking for a true gentleman with good manners (at least when we are not joking around, perhaps being a little politically incorrect and / or engaging in flirty banter). I would like to be with someone who will genuinely care for me and who I can care for and nurture.

I try not to ‘judge a book buy its cover” - some of my best reads are the ones I didn’t really like at the beginning. The same is true with people. I want to enjoy the process of really getting to know you, discovering all the things about you that make you special and hopefully, in time, building into a deeper, more meaningful relationship. And I want to have FUN doing it! If we are not captivated after the first few chapters, that’s okay, we just need to be honest about it, wish each other well, and move on to another book.

I'd just like to add...
Things I like and hopefully you do too:
FOOD: Making it, looking at it, devouring it and definitely going out for it! Wine too!
MUSIC: Listening to it, dancing to it, seeing it live! All kinds – but especially good dance music, old time rock and roll, R&B, etc. One of my favorite things to do is going to concerts and theatre (espcially musicals!).
SPORTS: FOOTBALL - even tho' the Pats broke my 'hart … HOCKEY - especially going to the ‘Gardin’… and Baseball.
EXPLORING: New places, new people, new hobbies, new restaurants, new things!
LOVE: Giving it, getting it!
