A little about me...
New England born & bred, I returned to VT 6 yrs. ago from living in FL 15 yrs. to open a unique shop with my daughter in Burlington. It's a hit! - & now that it's off the ground I'm easing up to make some wiggle room for other things important to me. Since I yearn for a LTR with a good man who might come to think that I'M pretty hot stuff, I'm taking this route to meet fellows who also seek "a partner & a pal". I am hard-working, tolerant, intuitive, practical, loving, honest, warm, & sometimes funny. I enjoy working out, dining out or cooking in, VPR, reading, my g.daughter, our beautiful shop, pets, walking, volunteering, playing cards, and friends & family. Travel is so fun for me - a weekend on the coast of Maine or a train trip across Canada - those are what my daydreams are made of. I have no great assets but also no liabilities to bring to any relationship. I care for my health, my car, my personal appearance & my spiritual development as all are important. I'd love to share some of my favorite things to do with an appreciative man, but would also love to participate in his interests as well. To me, the great thing about a LTR is having the privilege & luxury of getting to know someone intimately at every level = NICE. :-)

About the one I'm looking for...
One thing I'm pretty good at is being a friend - and a developed friendship with a special man would be wonderful to my way of thinking. I like men who are in fact developed - perhaps they've had to "face the day" at times in their lives when they could either bury themselves in another work project or a
new babe, but they chose to burrow in & find their way to new growth &
maturity. I like that. In general I favor men who are intelligent, open &
vulnerable, sensible, steady, and are amused or touched by many things.
They take care of their health, they are spiritually & financially fit, they stay
connected in the best of ways with their family & friends, and they actually
LIKE women. I will say that boozing, debting or deal-making to the extreme,
porn, & similar addictive behaviors are not my cup of tea at all. I really like to
visit & listen - do you like gabbing & listening too? I'm not needy but I
certainly would like a partner who would be there for me when I'm upset or
fumbling in the dark. I seek a man whom I can trust & treasure & repsect,
and - I want a man who would cherish & care for me. One phrase I really like
is Carpe Diem - do you look to each day as if it were a Gift & relish what
might be

I'd just like to add...
I love New England and consider all of it my backyard; therefore I'm at ease traveling for a meeting or date if it makes sense - in the past have combined that with a business trip or similar. I also have a small condo in FL and learned to appreciate that state and would consider living in FL in the winter.
I have a fulfilling life but I also have a flexible schedule & can make time for
the things I love to do or want to do. . . and frankly I'm quite enthusiastic
about finding a partner after these 30 years of being single. I had a
monogamous marriage & not a long string of boyfriends or live-ins . . . for
some reason these last several months I've had the yearning to meet a fine
man to enjoy & make happy. I love great restaurants, the performing arts &
good movies, walks, & gabbing over java. Those make good dates, do they not? :-)
