A little about me...
I am down-to-earth, unassuming, and quick to laugh. I see the positive side of life and try to see the value in everyone. I love a healthy lifestyle, exercising, eating right, and staying in shape. I work out at the gym and in the outdoors. It would be great to have a partner who was also in good shape. A second interest I would love to share is listening to music (jazz, classical, some rock), at concerts and at home.

I am well-educated, liberal-minded, and fun-loving (good at delivering one-liners). I am passionate about music, and have a large record collection, consisting of jazz, alternative, classical, and rock. I also like Flamenco and have a fondness for Spanish and Brazilian music.

You might also run into me at a Yale musical event. There are tons of free concerts at Yale that are of the highest caliber. The summer concerts on the New Haven Green are great, too. As far as going to bars, I will more likely go if there is a good band playing, but I'm still not a big bar person.

My favorite way to socialize is to relax with friends over dinner and wine… or cook a special meal for just you and me. My idea of a great day is a hike in the woods, or a day at the beach, followed by a sushi dinner and relaxing at home.

About the one I'm looking for...
I'm looking for a woman who is as stimulating a conversationalist as a lover and mate. I love a woman who is sensitive to her surroundings and can be captivated by nature, as well as appreciate the lines of a great piece of furniture or art...in other words, an aesthetic taste. She also must love to laugh and perhaps even be goofy at times. Loyalty, kindness, and caring are very important to me.

I'd just like to add...
They say people tend to watch out for things that ruined their last relationship. If that's true, then I'm looking for someone with emotional intelligence/stability and the ability to communicate in a calm and caring way (i.e, no yelling).
