A little about me...
I am a seni-retired Antiques Dealer and love the search and chase for that special item. I love to go to auctions, flea markets, estate sales and also do a bit of door knock searching. I love the outdoors, fishing, photography, gentle hikes in the woods or on the trails. I am passionate in helping those who can't help themselves. I am also a born again Christian but not a fanatic, and am a Democrat. I am kind and generous, an animal lover and own a rescued cat. I have also come face to face, well maybe back to face, with a ghost so do have a belief and fasination with the paranormal. lol !! I would love to go on an investigation.!!! I love storms and have dreamed of going on a 'storm search vacation' !!! There is no better place to watch a good movie than next to a good man and as near to the front as we can get without hurting our necks!!! I believe in walking side by side with my man, giving him encouragement and helping him to achieve his goals in life. I'm a good cook, and what I would call an 'earthy' woman, not a girly woman, although I'm told that I clean up well.
About the one I'm looking for...
I want a strong man, who is firm in his beliefs, gentle in his treatment of animals, women, children and those weaker than himself. I have had to take care of myself all of my life and am looking for someone to help take care of me for a change. I would like a man who can be a bit spontanious, who can wake up in the morning, see that it is going to be a wonderful day and be ready to head out on an adventure, be that a road trip, fishing, or just a walk in the woods, or going people watching. I want a steady man and an honest one. I abhore dishonesty in any shape or form. I am hoping for a man who is financially settled in his life. He does not have to be rich, I don't care about that, although it would be nice, but I am hoping that he is secure enough that he does not have to worry about keeping his electricity on and has enough left over to help make life fun. I want an intelligent man who is not overwhelmed by an equally intelligent woman. I would like a man who can give and take in all types of discussions, be them political, religious, paranormal, or sports related. I have one pet pieve. If you are not going to even meet for coffee don't bother flirting.
I'd just like to add...
I used to love to go small game hunting. Also have interests in sustainability. I would love to have a man teach me a new outdoor skill. In looking back at the lists and qualifications, there are too many 'I's. It takes 'We's to make a good couple. I firmly believe that self interest has no place in a relationship. I do have some miner physical complaints, but nothing that would keep me from enjoying a full life with the opposite sex. I'm by no way perfect....am struggling to hang onto a home and a business in this economy, and don't think I can work hard enough to do so. I do know that I no longer want to be alone. I am ...yes, I will admit it....I am lonely. Would you like to solve that little problem for me? Don't be lazy and just send a flirt...send me a real message and tell me something about yourself. I am getting all sorts of flirts, but very few of you are brave enough to ask for a date. What are you waiting for? We don't bite....live is too short to dither around wondering....what if? One more pet pieve.....Please, a message straight from your heart is so much better than those lazy push button flirts, especially after the first contact. I am starting to cringe and wonder if there are no men capable of writing their own.

My Top Interests:
Crafts and Creating
I used to teach ceramics and did alot of freehand, original designs. I made lamps and matching vases, ashtrays, etc...everything that would fit in a living room and sold them to galleries and gift stores. Then I hurt my right hand...nerve damage and could not hold onto a paint brush for any time without pain. I miss that creativity in my present business as an antique dealer even though I found I could raise that hand at an auction alot quicker than I could paint!!! lol. I paint some now.
Nature and Outdoors
One of my hobbies is scenic and nature photography. I think I have a good eye for it, composition wise. I also love to go for long walks in the woods, or on a beach, etc. With a partner, It would be nice to take up biking again, although give me a break, I have to get in shape a bit, too, in order to keep up with someone who does it all of the time. All these days in an antique store does not give one much extra stamina, although I adapt quickly.
I love to fish. I'll even bait my own hook and take my own fish off the hook while I am out fishing you.....so what are we waiting for?...lets go!!! and would you believe it? I like to watch MMA . Some people call it cage fighting. Now that it is on both FoX and FUEL cable stations, I find that I am enjoying watching the young men grow and learn from fight to fight.
