A little about me...
I've written this part before and as I proofread it, it seemed like I was describing a cocker spaniel. :) So I think I'll try it this way.
I think I'll say that I'm one of those people you just have to meet to get a good sense of what I'm all about. As a group, we are all over fifty and have a large chunk of life behind us. For me the key is in attitude. With the right attitude anything can be accomplished, overcome, dealt with and if the case warrants, dismissed. So, it's chin up, smile, and forward, ever forward.
About the one I'm looking for...
I don't think I have any preconceived notions about what kind of woman I am looking for. What I can say is that I will be wary of the woman that loves to laugh and life life to it's fullest. Sure, don't we all, but there comes a point when we all have to buck up, settle down and start living life as it's dealt to us. The day to day routine of being in a relationship is what I treasure most. The small moments that add up to a lifetime of giving and of love mean more to me than any amount of good humor. I'd like a woman that shares that attitude. In short, I don't like starting new relationships, I like having one solid LTR that will last forever based on trust and mutual goals.
I'd just like to add...
When it comes to the glass half full. I'm the guy that says, 'Hey, someone got into my water!".

My Top Interests:
I do like the old classic movies. Charlie Chaplin, Cary Grant... etc... Just because they are so darned good...Although slapstick can get a bit tiring.
Trained in this field and have worked in it for years... Just can't seem to get away from the high tech stuff.
As a military brat and vet, I've traveled to about 40 states and 14 foreign countries. Love seeing new sites and meeting people of different cultures. The real treasure can be found in living abroad not just in visiting.
