A little about me...
I'm a 47 year old man, divorced for 10 years and am a singe father of 2 fantastic daughters, 19 & 16 years old. I have not been on a date since my divorce, I have concentrated on raising my daughters and believed it would be better not to have different people in and out of their lives while they were young. They have been telling me for some time now that it is time to try and meet someone, I guess they might be right....I do not like drama, I know sometimes it occurs naturally, yet I do try to keep this to a minimum... I am very patient, even tempered and very rarely ever get mad or raise my voice. I have found that for me at least, anger is a waist of time. After 30 or so minutes of yelling, screaming & blaming, you still must address the problem that created all the anger. I have always felt that if you skip this step, the problem is solved in less time using less energy and feelings are not hurt (usually) and you can move on with less stress to something more enjoyable or productive.......

About the one I'm looking for...
I believe in honesty above anything else. I am kind of old fashioned in some respects, I look at the younger generation and see how much things have changed, the boys/men no longer open doors or pull out chairs, ect., when did all of this change? Why??? I do not believe in "games". To be honest, this is all so new to me and I have been alone for so long, I'm not sure what to say. So, I guess I'll leave it brief for now....

I'd just like to add...
Honesty, communication and the willingness to accept a person for who they truly are and to not try to change or see them for who we want them to be....(in the process of attempting to quit smoking)....As for the questionnaires, romantic... I'm not sure, after almost 10 years of being the only non-teenager in my life, I really can't answer this honestly... I like to think that I'm very romantic (at least I used to be)...I'd like the opportunity to find the answer to this question...
