A little about me...
I am not so old I don't believe in fairy tales anymore! Romance is still alive and I believe my Spiritual Partner is out there.
I do have a big reality check and know we don't get to this age without carrying some baggage. What matters is if it's an overnight size or the complete leather set. I am very family orientated with two children. My son and daughter are in college. I opened my home art studio so I am free to relocate wherever with Mr. Right.
I love to learn whether it's taking classes, reading books, or talking to people. I have both BS and MS degrees.
I am a private person with a few close friends - not the big crowd. I'd describe myself as loyal and ready to do anything for them. My partner would be my best friend and confidante.
My homelife growing up was filled with physical and emotional affection; I was so lucky to have the parents I have. I model my relationships after them, verbally and physically. I love PDA, holding hands to sending flowers, and I am equally happy to share it in private.
I am looking for Mr.Right-For-Me, not a casual relationship. Forty years from now, I want to be beside the love of my life, holding hands and smiling into the sun
About the one I'm looking for...
You are smart, attractive to me, good sense of humor, goal-orientated, not into impressing people (except me ;-D), can grill a good steak or hamburger, love to travel, love your kids and family. At home you trade your suit for jeans and are ready to kick back.
You love to hold my hand so I don't get lost, put your arm around me so I don't get cold, snuggle and cuddle just because... More than anything, you adore me as much as I adore you.
I am an independent lady and am looking for an independent man. We won't have all the same interests, so feel free to go with the guys doing your guy things, just make sure you come home to me when you're done. You are kind, generous, intelligent, trustworthy - that is so hard to gain, I know - respectful, gentle, a risk-taker, looking for a partner, knows how to communicate - what a list, isn't it? Contact me if you are interested and we'll see what we both want.
Of the Five Love Languages, I score highest in Physical and Quality Time.
I'd just like to add...
As a writer and artist, I am willing and can relocate with the right man. I can move anywhere as I work from the home. The man I would move with will have to do the dishes for a year, though! (hee hee) I don't like to date smokers - kissing should be fun and done often.
If you don't have a picture or you haven't been divorced for awhile, I'm not going to answer. Sorry, one of my rules.
I have raised my children and don't want to start over - sorry. This part of my life should be about my man and me.
If you are 12 years older than me, I'm not sure I would want to date. That is a lot of years and it would present its own problems.
I am not athletic. I used to be quite active and would like to get back to that again. What I can't do, I would love someone to teach me. If that fails, I can always come with and watch.
I believe in chemistry and that goes internal. I am a real person looking for a real person. Looks come and go unless you know a good plastic surgeon.
Looks come and go, education is just a piece of paper, life experiences are priceless, you are what you decide you are or aren't.
Last, don't ever call me babe or baby. When we know each other better, you can pick another pet name. And I won't call you "poopsie".
