A little about me...
My children and grandchildren play important roles in my life. I enjoy biking, nature walks, and reading nonfiction with an occasional novel. I enjoy travel and sightseeing, and it's not much fun doing it alone. Not much for TV, action movies, or pets. My tastes in food run toward simple dishes. I'm told that I'm witty, and hope that's true.

About the one I'm looking for...
Someone who's even-keeled, able to take the ups and downs without drama, and understanding. I was widowed after a 47-year marriage to someone who took care of the home while I earned a living, so I'm undoubtedly accustomed to being looked after. Shared interests are important, but differences can make things interesting.

I'd just like to add...
College football and Nascar racing are interests, if not passions. Casual, recreational cycling---no long distances or speed stuff. Nature walks, beach strolls, occasional short trips. I should add that I'm interested in public affairs and politics, and usually vote Democratic, but I'm not an activist. I'd enjoy discussions of current events, as long as they don't become arguments.
