A little about me...
I'm a good hearted woman looking for a good timing man, as the Willie Nelson song goes. Have had good relationships in the past, and believe I have learned how to accept the whole person - both celebrating their gifts and tolerating their faults, which I believe makes for a good match.
Im looking for someone who can find the humor and absurdity in life, and laugh at it rather than complain about it.. Someone who reads for pleasure, likes movies and thoughtful discussions and has a good sense of humor, a playfulness, would be a good fit. Would love to go on weekend trips in VA and elsewhere, including something I have wanted to do for a long time, which is stay in a cabin in the fall at one of the state parks, enjoying the beauty of the natural world in VA. I started exercising 5 times a week this past year, and would be interested in exercising together as well.
My picture is from a year ago - since then I have taken up a fitness regiment and have lost 15 pounds.
I watch a lot of PBS, especially the new series Luther, and Great Performances.. see movies nearly every week - one of my favorites of all time was "A Separation," best foreign language film from a few years ago.
Looking for a thoughtful companion...is that you?
About the one I'm looking for...
I'm looking for a committed relationship, rather than marriage.
I'd just like to add...
Most people would say I'm authentic, good looking, intelligent and a good conversationalist. I've been on my own a long time, after being married for a good long time, and am content by myself, but would find a stimulating companion a great addition to my life.
