A little about me...
Have had good relationships in the past, and believe I have learned how to accept the whole person - both celebrating their gifts and tolerating their faults, which I believe makes for a good, affirming partner.
I'm looking for someone who can find the humor in life, and laugh at it .. Someone who reads for pleasure, likes movies and thoughtful discussions and has a good sense of humor, a wit about them, would be fun. Also want to go on weekend trips.....Would love to go on weekend trips in VA and elsewhere, stay in a cabin in the fall at one of the state parks, and go on other trips both overseas and in the U.S.
Belong to home exchange, and could launch the occasional overseas adventure.. at a very low cost, as home exchange involves staying at each other's homes, and even exchanging cars.
I exercise daily, read a lot, have a lot of good women friends, and am looking for the right guy to laugh with.
I watch a lot of PBS, especially Luther and Great Performances..love watching Charlie Rose and the PBS Newshour, and see movies nearly every week - one of my favorites of all time was "A Separation," best foreign language a few years ago. Also enjoyed the latest Star Wars and The Big Short.
About the one I'm looking for...
Someone who has many good friends, someone who might want to travel, someone who has a spiritual side, however that is expressed, smart is always good...someone whose gifts hopefully are different than mine, so I can learn from him and enjoy another side of the world.
I'd just like to add...
Most people would say I'm authentic, good looking, intelligent and a good conversationalist. I've been on my own a long time, after being married for a good long time, and am content by myself, but would find a stimulating companion a great addition to my life.
