A little about me...
If they were making a movie about the story of my life, the perfect actress to portray me would be a combination of Diane Keaton, Teri Garr, Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson, Helen Hunt and maybe a little bit of Ellen DeGeneres if she were straight. I've got a lot of Girl Scout qualities (reliable, responsible, caring, compassionate) with enough fun to keep things interesting. For example, I've driven all over New Zealand on my own in a camper van (and I would never consider myself a camper type), I've driven a Duck tour boat as a FT job in Boston, I like raw bars by the water and fine dining by candlelight. I am secure in who I am and I like myself a lot. And I would love to share my good qualities with a man who is willing to be delighted by his woman. I'm intelligent but not necessarily intellectual, but I do love good conversation about whatever, from current events and politics to who is more entertaining, Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert. Yup, there's a lot to talk about over a glass of Sav. Blanc or Torrontes.
About the one I'm looking for...
Ok I'll admit it, my dream man is a fictional character. It's Rob Petrie. Funny, charming, literate, hardworker, loves his wife, stands up for his co-workers, and has wonderful parties with his neighbors and friends. I'm sorry, but I can't maintain a relationship with a guy who is dependent on drugs or alcohol, is passive-agressive, or has ADD. Although I'm open minded and don't judge people who have these things, it just doesn't work for me in a relationship. Please be open to having conversations. Not all day and night and not all the time, but frequently. Please respect women and especially me :) .
I'd just like to add...
I'm interested in someone who understands that a great relationship is a result of effort on both parties' part. And that starts with hoping to spark interest. Please don't just send me a canned line like "Great photo" or you "deserve a flirt." While I appreciate that you reached out to me, a line like that says nothing about why you think you would like me or I would like you. I just need more to go on. Thanks for understanding.
