A little about me...
One of the great challenges in my daily life is to sort out and prioritize all the varied interests and passions I have. Tennis is at the top of the list these days, followed by my work as a financial advisor and investment and insurance broker, then gardening, birds, dancing, downhill skiing, swimming, and infrequently, piano. I am also pretty handy around the house. I enjoy excellent health, as confirmed by my annual exam, and work at it through plenty of exercise, balanced diet and moderation. My exercise includes tennis at the 3.5 level, swimming a half mile in under 26 minutes, and lots of yard work. My sister is 92 and my brother is 84. Sensitivity to others is one of my strongest qualities, along with a gentle sense of humor. I am protestant, and a moderate independent, politically.
About the one I'm looking for...
A woman who is kind and considerate brings out the same qualities in me. I feel that listening well and understanding each other's needs and wants is critical to a sound and rewarding relationship. The more common interests and viewpoints that are shared, the better, of course. I'm attracted to a woman who is reasonably attractive and intelligent, and not overly conservative.
I'd just like to add...
In my view, an appreciation of the need to compromise, and even sacrifice occasionally, is what makes a relationship work well. For relaxation, let's have some quiet conversation and laughter in front of a crackling fire. The wood's all stacked. And for the warmer months, with the new mosquito-proof technology, the Funpatio does just fine. For party time, the six-seat hexagonal picnic table does the job very nicely. The only thing else that's needed is you.
