A little about me...
I am eclectic in my pursuits/interests which include outdoor activities, biking, hiking, camping, boating, cooking, antiquing, reading, gardening, photography, gold panning, and just about anything at least once. I enjoy attending music/cultural events, museums, experiencing exotic restaurants, travel, and exploring new places. I am an advocate of healthy living which includes visiting the gym regularly. I am excited about experiencing life’s offerings and those wonderful opportunities that present themselves.
I was a U.S. Park Ranger (retired 2011) after 35 years with the National Park Service (last worked at Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park as a Lands Resources Officer. My career brought me working assignments from Alaska to the Virgin Islands working on park land and planning issues. Retirement allows me time to pursue volunteerism, photography, travel, and exciting opportunities that come my way. I have a Bachelor degree in Geology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and am currently working towards a Masters in Park and Recreation Mgt (emphasis on Tourism) at George Mason University. I attended a Merchant Marine College for two years which gave me a taste for adventure.
About the one I'm looking for...
