Greeting

A little about me...
I am an easygoing guy with a subtle sense of humor and a quick smile. I am a cross between being a phoenix and an armored marshmallow. I'm kind of built like Sponge Bob Squarepants but not as good looking. I read books, particularly on religion, philosophy, and political/history. I am a caring individual concerned with the welfare of those around me..

About the one I'm looking for...
What I'm looking for is somewhat simple: she's breathing and doesn't run away everytime at the sight of me. The problem here is that you can't get an accurate compatibility assessment of a person in writing. It can only be done in person. But I know that has to come later in the dating game.

I'd just like to add...
I officiate two different sports, ranging from high school on down to the little leagues. Those sports are: football and softball. Just a side note: I don't watch sports on TV, too boring.

I enjoy a variety of music, e.g., New Age (that's the catch all category), classical, easy listening, instrumental, etc. (You get the idea.) I have done some volunteer work in the community such as Crisis Line, annual Easter egg hunts, even organized "Date Night Dance" for married couples.

Among of my favorite books is the "Lord of the
Rings" trilogy. The overwhelming thread in the story is that the measure of a person is not the physical stature but the size of the heart. One other book I liked is "The Little Prince." For that book you will learn the red fox's secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, that which is essential is invisible to the eye. I've always tried to remember these messages when dealing with people.

One if my favorite hobbies is cooking. I like to cook for anyone who is appreciative. I've worked in several restaurants around the country and even managed one once
