A little about me...
If you looked at my pictures you may have noticed the obvious, that yes indeed I am in a wheelchair. I decided to put it right out front, so that if you feel that dating someone with a disability is not for you, then you need not go any further, but then again you may be missing out on meeting a really nice guy.
I am in a wheelchair as a result of a car accident in which I suffered a spinal cord injury that left me paralyzed. I try not to feel sorry for myself and to look at my life in a more positive way in that I have, and do lead a pretty good life for a person with my type of disability. I also have a large and supportive family who has been there for me through some very difficult times for which I am very grateful.
I would say I am intelligent having earned my MBA from UW-Milwaukee. Since then I have done work in the areas of financial planning, accounting and taxes. I currently am not employed (by choice), but do freelance work from home. I also volunteer in a number of capacities in the spinal cord injury community. I feel passionate about helping others who have found themselves in the same life situation that I did at a young age.
About the one I'm looking for...
The type of woman I am looking for would be somebody who can accept me for what I am. The relationship ideally would be built on friendship first and then grow from there.
I'd just like to add...
I am able to drive by the way of my handicapped adapted van and love the freedom and independence that it gives me. Some of my favorite actives include driving of course, nature photography, shopping, watching Packers games and all types of movies.
If you feel we may be a match or you would just like to get to know me better, please email me.
