A little about me...
If you live more than 2 hours from Middlebury, VT, please stop reading now.
I am tall, intelligent, inquisitive, educated, travel regularly and ready for more international or domestic adventures; enjoy theater, concerts, lectures. I'm financially independent. I ride a recumbent bike, 50 miles a week in preparation for a July bike trip, Bratislava to Budapest. I have custom golf clubs.. I work out fairly regularly, root for the Patriots and Middlebury College teams, I think baseball on TV is watching grass grow. I audit courses at the college to prepare for travel.
Recent photos show I have a few more laugh-lines and age spots than I thought. I don't act or feel my age. TSA tells me I don't look my age. They keep telling me to take off my shoes. What do you think?
I'm low maintenance. However my idea of "roughing it" includes hot water and indoor plumping. I have both jeans and black dresses in my closet.
I want to appreciate sunsets with a gentleman. I miss having a travel companion and sharing experiences. I travel often and want to explore New England. I carry my own luggage and pay my own way.
About the one I'm looking for...
You are intelligent, adventurous, considerate, chivalrous, caring, mellow, romantic, financially secure. It would be great if you are at least as tall as I am.
You have a wanderlust. Or if you don't have the inclination, time, resources or ability to travel, you won't be challenged when I travel solo. You would worry about me and welcome me home with an embrace and a glass of pink wine. You seek a relationship, a friendship possibly with benefits, not a one-night stand.
You like '60's and '70's folk music; John Denver, Kingston Trio, Pete Seeger and the Weavers, etc. You have a VPR classical station on your car radio.
I'd just like to add...
Gentlemen, thank you for reading this far. May I suggest you consider dating a woman slightly older than yourself. After all we are not in Kindergarten and 6th grade. Statistics say women live longer than men. As I wrote previously I would like first to find a friend and travel partner and see if our friendship blossoms into a future relationship. I am not looking for marriage. I hunger for the warmth of the right man's embrace. I treasure having my own space as you do yours. To savor the times we come together for quality time, to discover bicycle routes, to discuss books, watch NFL on TV, play bridge, travel.. To experience sunsets and welcome the dawn of a new day together.

My Top Interests:
Will bike along the Danube from Bratislava to Budapest in July. Spend a week in October in Vienna and Belin attending Operas and concerts. Will cruise to the Antarctic in late November. Plan a 35 day cruise to East Asia in March 2016. Where do you want to go? Doesn't have to be international.
I am a rabid fan of Middlebury (Division III) football, & women's field hockey, I bike to the football and womens' field hockey games. Also take in Midd ladies ice hockey.
Use it our lose it. Take care of your body as well as your mind. I've mapped a relatively flat route including Weybridge Church and Morgan Horsefarm. Biking 50 miles per week..
