A little about me...
I spend my days outdoors together with wonderful people and feel extremely blessed for this opportunity. Listening to others gives me comfort, hearing their stories, a comfortable conversation during a walk or at the dinner table, supporting each other. I am always eager to learn more and to discuss my thoughts with whoever is willing to go there with me. In general I listen more than talk, but I can be quite a lively event planner and leader.
Making this world a better place is still important to me. It is my basic attitude to everything I do, from my daily work with my clients to my volunteering work.
I'm physically and emotionally quite strong, physically strong because I buck a lot of hay, emotionally strong because I run a fairly substantial business in which I take care of others.
A person's heart and mind are more important to me than their outward appearance.
About the one I'm looking for...
We would share interests and perspectives, but we would also complement each other: yin-yang. I always long for the male ability to solve problems rationally as complementary to my female abilities to solve problems by seeing the whole. Both perspectives together find the best solutions. Because spirituality is an important part of my life, you would probably be at least open and understanding. I have a hard time with the two extremes - exclusively left-brained atheist as well as brainless fundamentalist. Spirituality is about using both sides of the brain plus the heart. All paths lead to God.
If you are retired and looking for a travel partner, then I am probably not the right match for you.
I'd just like to add...
Dating at our age is different from the dating we did 30 years ago. It takes more time to get to know each other. Also, I find it helpful if both partners have their own finances worked out. We all have a lot of history, good and bad, that we bring into a new relationship. Let's hope that we have both become stronger and better through difficult experiences.

My Top Interests:
Nature and Outdoors
I'm outdoors all day long. That's where I can breath and feel free - like my horses. I love walks and hikes just about anywhere. The beach is special, of course. The gym is definitely not part of my life.
Family and Friends
I have two grown sons. The older I get the more I miss my family in Germany. But I love my extended barn family.
Religion and Spirituality
Spirituality - not religion - is an important part of my private and professional life. While I give a good part of my free time to my church, I am anything but an evangelical or fundamentalist.
