A little about me...
I have spent my last forty years working in the construction industry, manly as a project manager, and an about ready to move on to a less structured consulting job. I enjoy reading, sailing (although I have not done much in the last couple of years), riding my bike and watching the occasional movie. Although I have made it lease my fare share of mistakes I still own a good sense of humor, a quick smile and the desire to enjoy life (all be it at a slightly slower pace).
I have become tired of living alone and am hoping I can fall madly in love one more time with someone who would like to share at lease one more adventure this lifetime. The idea of living on a sailboat and, perhaps, spending the summers on the Great Lakes and the winters in the Caribbean comes to mind.
About the one I'm looking for...
I’m not overly difficult to please but the initial attraction is probably important. Someone with a good sense of humor, that does not take life too seriously, would be appreciated. Playing a “mean” game of backgammon is a definite plus.
I'd just like to add...
Obviously I love the water but, in my old age, I have graduated to enjoying walking beside it, rather than baking by it. Although I’m happy with myself I’m still working on improving. Sometimes I’m surprised at how young I still feel and I know there is still a lot of life left to enjoy. I enjoy wearing a suite for the right occasion, but jeans are my usually attire.
