A little about me...
I'm a loving, gentle, and caring person who shows her love by treating our Mother Gaia as She should be treated. I am living in Idaho (for two years now), with a Service Dog in Training (Rusty, a BC/Sheltie cross from the Blackfoot Shelter, being trained to help me with balance and retrieving) and one collared dove Momsity Bird, plus two new kittens recently rescued from the Bonneville/Bingham Humane Society shelters, a caliby (calico with tabby markings) whom I have named Smudge, and a Mackerel tabby (traditional witch's cat) whose name is now Mickey Mouse (he's monogrammed, you see).
I am looking for some company, somebody to spend time with doing things that are 'fun' ("fun", what's that?) for both of us, to watch TV, cuddle, spend a quiet evening reading (a passion of mine), and just "being there" for each other, while we're at home or traveling. Yes, I have baggage. Eight years married and thirty-two divorced add up to a lot of excess baggage!
Thank you for reading this far, and I hope, if you're interested in learning more about me, to hear from you soon.
About the one I'm looking for...
Someone who loves me for Me, as with me, what you see is what you get. Someone willing to accept my spiritual path unquestioningly. Someone I can give all the love I have stored up from having been "single" most of my life.
I'd just like to add...
I am an initiated Dianic witch (no, we do NOT believe in the devil. Nor do we even acknowledge its existence! It's a xtian invention). I have been studying Celtic shamanism for a while but have yet to put it into practice. I am grieving for the loss of two of my beloveds, Lily Karma, my cat who had to be put to sleep because of inoperable CA, and Jade Li, my heart, life, and soul, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge a while ago. He had been my service dog for 11 years. So I'm not the bubbly, witty self I usually am, it's going to take some time. But I will accept their absence, since I still have Rusty, my SDIT, a BC/Sheltie cross I got from the Blackfoot shelter a year ago April 15th, and he has been an enormous comfort to me. He had not adjusted to being an 'only child', so I started scouting the local shelters and found a sister and a brother for him! Rusty sleeps in his crate next to my bed, and Smudge and Mickey (felines approximately 10-11 weeks old) sleep with me. I am so glad they bonded with me so quickly. It's seldom that I sit down to watch TV without at least one of them on my lap! Yes, I am very attached to my furred and feathered babies. Deal with it.
