A little about me...
I am a very laid back, financially secure, retired person with a somewhat adventurous side who truly loves life and I am really looking forward to this more relaxed time in my life to persue my lifelong passion for art. I love the outdoors and hope to take some time in the very near future to travel. I am a very spiritual person, but can't seem to get all that fired up on religion. I suppose that I'm somewhat of an idealist in that I truly believe that if we could all just treat each other the way we would like to be treated, with respect and compassion, the world would truly be a better place. Oh well, I've just got to do my part anyway. I suppose that to sum it all up, I'm just a simple country boy with old fashioned values who just also happens to love motorcycles. I've spent a few years recovering from critical injury and illness but now, thanks to the miracles of modern medicine, I am feeling pretty darned good. Life is great and my home and hobbies keep the boredom away. Although I am doing well, I can't help thinking that life might be a whole lot better if there were someone to share it with.
About the one I'm looking for...
I think the most important aspect of any relationship is the ability to be best friends. I would enjoy being around someone who is artistic and comfortable with where she is in life. No drama, no games. I love being around people who have a positive attitude and like to laugh-even at themselves sometimes. I would like to meet someone who is retired or semi-retired and also has an adventurous spirit and can be spontaneous. I would really prefer to meet someone with a very deep spiritual side but not necessarily religious Would love to meet someone who rides who just wants to get out and have some fun. Day trips, 3 days, whatever. There is just so much to see and enjoy out there. Got a brand new knee and a new Road King this year and I'm feelin good to go.
I'd just like to add...
Is there anyone who would like to go for a walk through the forest somewhere up in the mountains, in an aspen grove maybe, looking for a few sticks that I can turn into some really nice canes? I would just love to find someone who could just take off for a few days once in a while to see more of this great country we are so blessed to live in. Did I also mention that I like to cook? I'll never claim to be a gourmet chef, but cooking for one is so hard to do and when I do cook, it tastes pretty good. I'm also pretty much a homebody so an evening in front of the TV with a bag of popcorn isn't too bad either. As long as the conversation is good and the smiles are genuine I think I could be happy
