A little about me...
Reserved at first, but a warm, loyal, steadfast and caring man once you get to know me. I love books and computers (that last one is how I earn my bread), but those don't have nor can replace the touch and warmth of a woman. While I love rock (can play the air guitar till my fingers bleed!), I also enjoy the grace, gentility, and formality of an English country line dance (think 'Pride and Prejudice'-type dancing). While I revel in deep, probing conversation on most any topic, history is a deep and abiding passion with me.

About the one I'm looking for...
A woman who is confident in herself -- a woman of the ages. Someone who likes to have fun, but is not adverse to the quiet majesty of the setting sun. A woman of character and integrity -- and a touch of the feminine mystique. And, in an eloquence I could never hope to match ...

"Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale her infinite variety. Other women cloy the appetites they feed, but she makes hungry where most she satisfies." -- William Shakespeare, "Antony and Cleopatra", Act 2, Scene 2

I'd just like to add...
I'm not here to play games, toy with anyone's heart, or play with their affections. That is not in my personality or character; I call a spade a spade and am not adverse to using it. For far too long I've been ruled by the head, I want to give the heart a foremost position for a while ... and see where the heart leads me.
