A little about me...
Welcome to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club.......Retired now...gives me time to pursue a lifelong passion to write books. Diverse and eclectic enough to have a lot of experiences to draw from, having grown up in Montana, and lived in Los Angeles, and Oregon along the coast and in Portland. I am patient, kind, considerate, and supportive. Do not like to argue or be in conflict or in a competitive or stressful relationship. Do need time alone to pursue writing as it is a time of contemplation and the search for inspiration. Can be quiet for days on end, or hold a scintillating conversation from silly to intellectual to philosophical. Am feeling the aging process begin to take its toll, but that is normal. Also, if you're looking for a sugar daddy....it ain't me babe. I live in a 40 yr old trailer and drive a 20 year old car and I'm more than fine with that. I am retired and so financially stable and can afford to take a lady out to dinner and do some traveling. Mostly introspective at this point in my life. I want to be remembered as a kind man whose word was good. And....I am not interested in climbing the next hill hoping to find the next thrill. Thanx for looking.
About the one I'm looking for...
A person who likes to converse over dinner from silly to intellectual-I see people as icebergs-10% above the water line and visible and 90% below and hidden, but not necessarily cold. So I like to break the ice.. am a "beer, boots, and barns" type of guy, probably not too compatible with "wine, dine, and refine," but willing to give it a go with the right one. I am not a walking talking encyclopedia nor would want to have one around me. I prefer spontaneous, creative, ethereal types, and, yes, perhaps, spiritual, free of boasting or trusting in their education, possessions, or bank accounts.
I'd just like to add...
I love the outdoors, although my days of long hikes are over. I have discovered that each of the four seasons brings its own special inspiration, if I stop long enough to find it or let it find me at some quiet spot where I can breath deep of and observe what is offered. I am not a thrill seeker nor game player. I am pensive and contemplative, but also spontaneous and very fun if given the chance.
"Twice Upon A Time"- a love story
"Under the Slaughterhouse"- a horror story set in Montana State Prison
"The Rider"- a western/fantasy set in Witchita. (not a misspelling)
"Pilatus the Damned" the story of the first vampire, BEFORE Dracula, and Pilatus was the inspiration for Bram Stoker to write "Dracula" Interesting premise and read.
All are available on line at Amazon and Barnes &Noble
I suppose I could be classified as a novelist.
But enough of tooting my own horn. Bottom line, I'm just an ordinary average guy easy to get along with and think understanding and kindness are much more to be desired than competition and strife.
