Greeting

A little about me...
I am an old fashioned romantic who is very sentimental (as an example, I was married on Valentine’s Day). My family is very important to me (I have two grown sons whom I raised as a single dad). I am an experimental physicist with a Ph.D. (I identify a little with Leonard in the Big Bang Theory, a show I only recently started watching since I thought they were making fun of people like me—but it is actually excellent).

I teach physics on the side since it has been a great help in my research. I am very easy going. I enjoy helping others sometimes to the detriment of my own to do list. I use the fitness center almost every day (3+ miles on the treadmill plus the use of a few of the machines). I enjoy travelling (have been to the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador, Spain and many parts of our country), but I am a bit of a homebody. My greatest joy is just spending time with someone special.

About the one I'm looking for...

I'd just like to add...
Unfortunately, I am usually the photographer and only in group family photos. The photo above I cropped from a picture of me between my two sons. I added the photo from grad school only because it is interesting to see what someone looked like long ago and something I post for my students since I was about their age. My hair is a mixture of grey and brown and, like my Dad and grandfathers before me, thinning on top.
