A little about me...
I'm not sure how this online dating thing will work out, but if the scammers and con-artist would stay off of these sights, it just might make it easier to find that special someone. Ok, now that I got that off of my chest......I relocated from CT to the Lake Norman area, which is 45 min northwest of Charlotte, in 1997 and it's a move I never regretted! I enjoy the lake and all that Charlotte has to offer. I have a daughter who joined the AF a few years ago and I am very proud of her and what she has accomplished so far since joining the military. As for me, I'm a bit shy when I meet people for the first time, but once I feel comfortable with someone and my surroundings, I'm an open book. I love boating and also enjoy camping, canoeing, the beach, bowling, traveling, and watching football or basketball. I'm not into sky diving or bungee jumping, but if you are, no problem..... I just won't be joining you :-)
I've had the opportunity to visit places like, Aruba, St. Croix, Cancun, Vegas, San Diego, Sedona, Charleston, Hilton Head, Hawaii and Key West, but would love to see more of the many beautiful parts of our country. It sure would be nice to have someone to share that adventure with.
About the one I'm looking for...
Communication is VERY important to me with any relationship. If you don't have that, it just won't work. I don't like people who feel the world revolves around them or feels the need to put others down to make themselves look or feel better. It's all about respecting other peoples needs and feelings.
I'd just like to add...
I noticed people sometimes mention they would like to feel the "right" chemistry upon meeting someone for the first time. If it happens, that's great, but I don't feel it's necessarily a bad thing if it doesn't. What's wrong with two people learning to get to know and appreciate one another first before it does? If you're interested enough to want to see if we have (or will have) the right chemistry, send me an email. If not, good luck in your search for finding that "special" someone.
Please have a current photo of yourself posted in your profile if you want me to respond.
