A little about me...
Hello, cannot wait to meet you in person! I am an outgoing, positive, semi retired grandmother, who worked in communications (GTE) Verizon for 32 years! Still eager to learn and see more of our United States. Moreover, I yearn for companionship with a man that is ready to live, love and laugh. Let's hold hands and take charge of this next adventure, together, with our eyes wide open! Honesty is paramount! Let's connect :)
About the one I'm looking for...
A kind, generous, positive, man that is looking for a good life for the rest of our lives :)
A man who will inspire me to be my best, will comfort and love me and make me appreciate his support. My ideal man will desire equality in a relationship. Make me laugh, make me think, and I'll do the same for him. I'm not seeking a prince or a couch potato - just a nice man who loves himself and has room for someone else in his life.
"We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly. " Respect and patience are two necessities for any successful relationship. A willingness to compromise , not ones values or beliefs, but on the everyday activities of daily life, is an indication of a mature approach to relationship.
I'd just like to add...
***I love walking through a forest, listening to the stream gurgle, smelling the fragrant pine, seeing the critters race for cover. I love standing on the sand and watching the waves crash against the shore. I love walking through museums and churches of Old Europe. I love watching, a movie on a rainy day with popcorn and a fire. But mostly I love holding someone special.
Let's build a new partnership. Two is naturally more fun :) Ready to explore the possibilities? Me too.
***The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break anyone. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can change is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. We are in charge of our attitude". Must admit, some days, mine stinks too. :)
