A little about me...
I was raised in Texas and consider myself a southern gal who knows how to make the right man feel appreciated, needed and desirable. I would rather be spontaneous than plan things. I love to laugh. I am witty and can be funny and sarcastic without being hurtful. I prefer casual to dress up, although for special occasions I don't mind putting on the Ritz. I raised my son and then my niece during which times I did not date so it has been quite awhile. Lord only knows what goes on out there now. However, it will be an education to find out. I hope things are still a little on the old fashioned side. Looking forward to meeting some gentlemen who know how to treat a woman. And you can rest assured that I know how to treat a man...all southern women know. :)
About the one I'm looking for...
I believe that a man should help a woman feel safe, secure and protected. I have never exerienced that in a relationship. It seems as though I was always doing the care taking (my choice ). Like to see how it feels to be on the receiving side. One of the qualities I find most attractive is a sense of humor. I am looking for a relationship which includes friendship as well as the possibilty of something more serious. I have worked in professions where I spent many hours working with few left over for myself after raising the family. Sooo...I would love to meet someone who can show me the way to learn how to enjoy myself, relax and go with the moment. Honesty and integrity are high on the list. But don't forget that funny bone.
I'd just like to add...
If you remember the silver bowls of pickles and the plates of pumpernickle bread on the lunch table at Duke Ziebert's that would be a great laugh walking down memory lane. I used to work at the Bender building in D.C. and loved it. Lunchtime and after hours in D.C....sigh!
