A little about me...
I love to learn, get to know people and exchange ideas. Education aside, much of what I’ve learned has come from sharing with others. I’m a good listener and genuinely interested in what people have to say and who they are. Not a fan of hypocrisy and phoniness, I strive to be open and honest and would appreciate that from friend or partner. I’m compassionate, independent, thoughtful and funny. I don’t need or want games. Not an average, mainstream thinker and never will be. If you want to know something about me, just ask. I am grateful for the many experiences in my life (both the good and the bad) as they've contributed to who I am. I’m open to new ones.
About the one I'm looking for...
I appreciate openness, honesty and independence. The ability to enjoy excitement as well as peaceful, quiet time is also good. People interest me and always have. I put no limitations on that. Of course, common interests help in developing relationships, but so do the diverse ones. Our similarities and differences are parts of what brings us towards one another. So, it’s an “open field” and I love the adventure. (A sense of humor is a definite plus.)
I checked "casual relationship" when I first started a profile here. Thinking about that now, I'd like to meet a potential partner, get to know each other and give a relationship a chance to develop, if possible.
I'd just like to add...
Writing, reading (my interests are diverse), good conversation, travel (discovering new places, people), cooking, dining in and out, hiking/camping, walking, exercising, gardening (working the soil is a great stress reducer), music (I've been learning to play the guitar - I've a passion for the Blues - but I'm not ready to quit my day job, just yet), new ideas, health and wellness. Time quietly shared or dancing in a crowd. The list goes on. Perhaps, with “good conversation”, more will emerge?
