A little about me...
As a friend, I am supportive and reinforcing. I am witty and like everyone else, I love to laugh - the harder the better. My glass is almost always half full. I enjoy cooking, know the difference between scallions and green onions, and can tell a chick pea from a garbanzo bean any day of the week. While most guests will come back for a second dinner party, Michelin has not yet stopped by to award their star.
I have been athletic all my life, keep fit, and would enjoy a companion for hiking, walks, camping, canoeing, water and snow skiing. How about a weekend bike ride to the local farmers market or for miles along the Rio Grande bike path?
I also enjoy the nature and geology of the southwest - with the exception of the dandelions that grow unceasingly from my lawn.
In retirement, I am still looking for all that free time I heard so much about. I am on the board of a homeless womens shelter, and tutor kids with the ABQ Reads and Oasis reading programs. I was a nature guide for school kids at the Rio Grande Nature Center.
I have great pride in my four college age boys who keep me active, and my schedule flexible.
About the one I'm looking for...
I am looking for a relationship that would grow into a lifelong partnership of joy, exploration and growth. The woman I most want to meet would likely be some measure of self-confident, intelligent, healthy and playful. You would have a sense of humor, have a big heart and compassion for others. You would be interested in what is happening in the world around us. Our families and friends would be important to us both. We would enjoy holding hands, snuggling, and touching as we pass by. We would sense the thrill of being in each other's presence, and feel the electricity from our closeness.
I'd just like to add...
Moved to Corrales eleven years ago, after having lived in and around San Francisco for 30 years. For 25 of those years, I worked in high tech marketing and sales positions in Silicon Valley.
