Greeting

A little about me...
passions? philosophical conversations, the game of Bridge, et.al. i have a gentleness that developed over time through empathy, and a firmness of purpose that steers me toward not backing down in situations confronting callousness and apathy...

About the one I'm looking for...
gentle voice, pretty hair, nice teeth, shapely legs, good hygiene, excellent wit, I WANT IT ALLLLLL!!! ("no wonder he's by himself, marge...")
IOTM (Interview Of The Month): "...Surely you mention all those physical features as a prerequisite merely because you were given 800 'character-count-units' for this space entitled 'About the one I'm looking for' and the fact is if indeed you were required to mention the physical attributes you were most attracted to you would have no choice but to be honest and comply..."
STEVE(INTERVIEWEE OF THE MONTH)... "To be certain, and don't call me shirley..."

I'd just like to add...
we get "complacent"...at least i do...we wait for someone to come along and "knock our socks off" because we don't want to be disappointed again...disappointed in what? ultimately we disappoint ourselves if we don't get out there and "make something happen"...how many of us will end up saying, i cudda, wudda, or shudda, and "if only..." i'm not perfect, i've said all 4 more than once...the idea is to find someone who can help me make me better, and someone who needs me to help her make her better...in online "shopping" it can be so easy to convince ourselves that initially, at least, its all about LOOKS and who am i really attracted to, physically; because we ALL seem to say the same thing: "i love life, i'm in a good place right now, my kids are or were everything, i love the outdoors and i love to travel..."
remember what fannie hurst (1889-1968) said: ";It takes a clever man to turn cynic; and a wise man to be clever enough not to."
am i a wise man? not always, not always...
