A little about me...
I like any food prepared with garlic. And I
love hot fudge sundaes (without the garlic). I like to vacation in warmer climates, places with
beaches and swimming and snorkeling, or a walk through a jungle. But of course, we have that every day
here in Hawaii. Ive always thought it would be interesting to participate in an archeological dig.
Ive done a little bit of travelling, and would like to do more, both for the sheer pleasure of it and
to experience other cultures. Im pretty good at country/western dancing. I can do a little bit of
swing dancing and would like to learn more. I even danced at the Bolshoi in Moscow. Ok, it was during
intermission in the foyer and I did a little two-step with a friend, just so I could say that Ive
danced at the Bolshoi. Although all my brothers and parents are hard core Republicans, I thankfully
escaped with my intellect intact. In my free time I enjoy building things with my hands (as an escape
from my work which is primarily brain-intensive). My most recent project was converting the upper part
of my barn (back in New Hampshire) into an entertainment loft.
I spent my childhood years in suburban New Jersey and teen years on the family farm in northern New
About the one I'm looking for...
Most importantly, I am looking for a relationship of equality. Id like to find someone who is
professional, accomplished, ambitious, liberal, fun, slim. Someone who can be described as sensuous,
sensual, sensitive, sensible and other adjectives starting with "sens". Someone who enjoys discussing
the issues of the day, and can see and evaluate ideas from both sides, who comes to conclusions
reasonably rather than with "well thats just what I believe". Someone whom I can be serious with, and
silly with. Someone who can find fascination in the beauty of the stars (astronomically, not
astrologically). I used to say that I wanted "someone who will snuggle by the fireplace in the winter,
shuffle through the leaves in autumn, smell the petunias in spring, and skinny dip on a hot summer
night". But we dont have fireplaces, autumn leaves, or petunias in Hawaii! In any case, I hope you
get the picture. :)
I'd just like to add...
OK, so I've been on SeniorPeople meet for about a month now. I've gotten a large number of "flirts" and "messages" from women here. Which is rather strange, since Im also on other personal ad sites and I don't get anywhere ear that number of resposes. So I'm suspecting that maybe SeniorPeople isn't quite on the up-and-up. I actually haven't read any of those flirts or messages, since you have to pay a huge amount of money just to see who's sent them and to read them. So, thus whole thing may just be a scam.
BUT, if you really are an actual woman and you want to get in touch with me you can note that my first name is ROGER and I live IN HAWAII. Put those together and attach it to the name of the web portal that was extremely popular when the internet first started up. It's an american one. And it's on line. If you get my drift. :)
