A little about me...
I'm an Amelia Earhart seeking Marco Polo!! I'm a classy southern girl who's travelled the world and is now settled at the base of the mountains. Life is wonderful, and just keeps getting better. I've been a flight attendant (Pan Am ... remember them?), a drug counselor for kids in prison, and am now a middle school science teacher. I'm also an avid animal lover who has worked with loads of different and exotic critters over the years. I love my family, my kids, my friends and my work. I am a strong, passionate woman with an insatiable curiosity and an open heart. I love finding out what's around the next bend. Honesty, loyalty, integrity, compassion and gratitude are the standards by which I live my life. I see the hard times as simply an opportunity to grow into a more caring and empathic person. My life is full and exciting ... you'll never be bored with me ... but there's plenty of room, in my heart and in my life, for love ...
About the one I'm looking for...
You are honest, caring and fun. New places and experiences excite you. You are educated, financially stable, and excited to get up every morning. You enjoy getting outdoors and staying fit, but also curling up on the couch to watch a game or heading out on a spontaneous road trip. You're ready to make the second half of your life all that it was meant to be.
I'd just like to add...
I enjoy most activities, and will try just about anything once (as long as it doesn't involve heights ... sorry!) Hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, museums and art galleries, new restaurants, dancing and concerts, used book stores, movies and shows, baseball games, ... you name it, we'll have fun.

Nature and Outdoors
The perfect day: a morning hike to a pristine mountain lake, lunch while basking on a rock, glimpses of deer or the occasional bear, the trickling of water over rocks in a mountain stream. Dinner at some out-of-the-way hole in the wall. Life is good ...
