A little about me...
I love my three children and my three grandchildren. I also love travel, Alaska, museums, and life in general. I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, reading, good movies and the performing arts--live theater, Opera and the symphony.
Being healthy in mind, body and spirit is my most important goal at this time of my life. I am still trying to find the answers to many important questions such as our reasons for being here at this time and in this place and what happens after this. I am grateful for all the wonderful things I have experienced so far. I live life as if everything is a miracle.
About the one I'm looking for...
I am interested in meeting someone for friendship and companionship who has a love of learning, enjoys world travel and people from all walks of life. I enjoy family gatherings and spending time with children and grandchildren. I am healthy and take care to stay that way. I am not interested in anyone with poor health or substance abuse issues. No exceptions here. Must enjoy traveling and exploring new places. Enjoying and appreciating life is important and each day should be cherished and lived to the fullest.. I am seriously considering walking the Camino De Santiago across Northern Spain. Would really love to find someone who would also like to do that. One other goal is to visit the Galapagos Islands. I will do that as soon as my grandson turns 12 since that will be a great time to take him on that journey with me.
I'd just like to add...
I do not like most organized religion. I have found that I have most in common with The Unitarians and/or The Unity Church.. I have always had a love of learning and am interested in almost everything. I have completed a 312 page book about the One Hundred Year History of our cattle ranch in South Dakota now in our family for 100 years--Since 1909. For me--Life is very good. I have 3 wonderful and well adjusted children and 3 grandchildren. I consider my three children to be my greatest achievement even though I worked for 40 years in a most interesting profession. I like to go on one overseas trip per year and went to Israel last year, London this year and am thinking of Germany for my next vacation. I never get tired of traveling in Alaska and generally go to Fairbanks in the Fall and Winter for a few days. I am grateful that I continue to enjoy excellent health and have a good retirement so that I can enjoy all the things that I love. I am interested in many things--Maybe too many.
