A little about me...
Partly retired computer professional, with a PhD. Interests in going to theater, music, dance performances, indi movies. Very active and athletic through my life, though I no longer run marathons, and my orthopedist told me to stop playing racquetball. Still, I ride my stationary bike every morning, work out, become a Ski bum in winter, Bike, and and am an avid reader who always have a book close at hand. My reading ranges through history and biography, to fiction, as well as current topical books.

About the one I'm looking for...
Not necessarily interested in a relationship, but just a friend. I look for people of Intelligence, who are well read, and verbally expressive.

I'd just like to add...
I love theater, music, dance performances, movies, travel, biking, skiing and being in interesting and beautiful places.

About 20% of the time I am in the SF Bay area, specifically Emeryville/Berkeley, and like to see something at Berkeley Rep, or Freight and Salvage. Jazz in Oakland is good too. It is a treat to see Rita Morino perform. ACT in SF is terrific. Best bike ride: Ferry from Tiberon to SF, then biking from Fisherman's wharf over the GG Bridge, and back through Sausolito to Tibron, where I left my car and got on the ferry. Second best is around Lake Tahoe. When in Copenhagen, I live on a bike like everyone else.

About 50% is in and around NY area, where there are uncountable things to do.

The remaining 40% is somewhere else. A most is skiing somewhere or visiting my children, grandchildren cousins and sibs.
