A little about me...
After an absence of six years, I'm back in Abilene and happy to be back and writing again. I may be a native Californian, but I've grown to love Abilene and feel like I've come home. I gave Minnesota a try and loved the four seasons, but the people weren't nearly as friendly as the folks in Texas. I like walking and hiking in the woods, and I love a good campfire, but I'd rather do my camping in a trailer, or better yet, a house on a lake. My favorite place to watch sports is at the arena, ballpark, etc. Being at the game not only makes me part of the experience, the crowds offer unlimited people watching. Most of the walking I do these days is with Madigan, my spaniel/terrier. She's good company, but I'd rather be walking hand-and-hand with you. I'm at a place in my life where I'm happy with who I am and where I am. But I'd like that someone special to sit next to and laugh at the newest comedy movie, or picnic with by the lake on a beautiful spring day, or dress up for a night on the town. Or just stay home and cook dinner and watch a movie. I've been told I have no fear, usually by someone who is a little scared of adventure, of living. I want to do and see as much as I can in this life.
About the one I'm looking for...
I want a partner who supports me and whom I support. I'd like to meet someone who is confident, has a good sense of humor (the ability to laugh at yourself is a must), appreciates an intelligent man, has a good relationship with his children, and is ready for a spur-of-the-moment outing, has an awareness of the world around him, from current events to history. I want someone to go cross-country skiing with me in the winter and bodysurfing in the summer, willing to wander through a picturesque town or to take the time to stop at that antique store on the side of the road. I want passion and excitement, tenderness and soft kisses, curiosity and exploration. I'm looking for a relationship. I want a partner who can keep up and who is as comfortable taking the lead as walking side by side. A trip together should be more than just getting where we're going - the journey is as important as the destination. If you're adventurous, supportive, and interested in learning more, that's great. We don't have to spend every minute together, but sharing some interests are important. Communication is huge; without it, I believe a relationship is doomed. I want to enjoy spending time with you and look forward to being with you when we are apart.
I'd just like to add...
Take a chance, you won't know until you do.
By the way, please have a photo posted. I put mine out there, please have the courtesy to do the same.
Also, one flirt is fine, after that, send an e-mail with a little bit about yourself or questions for me. Multiple flirts without anything personal? That's a delete :)
