A little about me...
I am a outgoing athletic 5'8' who loves to spend his time outdoors. I am adventurous and fill my free time with hiking, dancing or going to live theater. ( Have season tickets to several live theater groups.)
I believe you are never too old to enjoy life as long as you have smiles and laughter.
Here's what coming up!
April - in ABQ helping 93 year old mom with house repairs - roofing, swamp cooler, new AC in her car, misc. Mr. Fix-it projects.

June - to Alaska to help a friend install a refrigeration system on his commercial fishing boat -staying a little extra for salmon fishing.
July - kayaking on Lake WA. biking the Burke Gilman, Seattle town hall, Jazz Alley, mushroom hunting
August - kayaking down the Salmon river - Idaho
Sept. - archery elk hunting - Blue Mts.
Oct. - work- teaching gas furnace service and repairs
Nov. Virginia/ N.Carolina - Civil war battle fields

About the one I'm looking for...
Someone still looking to enjoy the serendipity of life.
You like to be active - participate in life - not an observer
Well read - killed your TV, not addicted to Professional sports, be able hold in-dept conversations/ willing to examine your beliefs/ don't buy into dogma without question/ you like exploring new ideas/ places/ cultures. You know your way around a kitchen and would enjoy being with me learning and trying new recipes/ we can discuss a variety of topics./ you stick up for yourself/ we enjoy a number of activities in common and each other's company/ we are spontaneous / we just like being together/ we can function separately and sometimes need our own temporary space/
We share a common spiritual religious core. We are both Christians and or Catholics( goofy way on web site - for labeling beliefs.) Please - No Buddhists, Other or Agnostics- it just won't work. I lived with Buddhists in the late 60's and fairly recently lived with a Muslin family for part of a summer in the Middle East. I am tolerant with other's belief - but for us in a long term relationship - we both must know Him.
We are confident but humble, considerate,
So if you are some one that would rather wear out than rust out, touch base. Carpe Diem
I'd just like to add...
You’ll find me handy like a pocket.
In the past I rebuilt a half dozen houses, 2 apartment buildings and picked up lots of tool for this type of stuff and enjoy it.
Enjoy working with both my hands and brain.
Teach HVAC at a local trade school - instrumental in teaching many a successful career in this trade to earn family supporting wages.
Believe in a hand up - not a hand out.
I may be politically incorrect at times - I should probably be on the other side of the mountains.
I have a good sense of humor. By the way, am using some of these dating experiences as a comedy routine. So... every "date" is a success - even if its just for more material. ;-)
Just about forgot - please no flirts/ smokers or 420 users / vegans/ very liberal/ those with NO photos/
so.... open to meeting and developing a great active relationship.
Please be under 6'4".
Extra points if you ballroom dance. ;-)
