A little about me...
I have three grown kids and they are incredibly nice people with great personalities and kindness.
I am a well educated, adventurous, fun spirited having grown up in a family of similar nature. I'd like to try dog sledding, snowboarding, go swimming with the dolphins, salmon fishing, take a boat cruise, ride a space shuttle, the list goes on. …
About the one I'm looking for...
I'd like to meet a warmhearted woman with an eclectic sense of humor who is educated (can spell at least their first and last name) and who is sincerely looking for someone to hold hands with the rest of the way, be close to, and make new memories with (still awake? I promise to be less serious later on here). I would like a partner who is mature and takes loyalty and family seriously yet is still connected to her inner kid. Physical affection and intimacy feeds my soul - want to be best friends who can't keep our hands off each other.
I don't date very often otherwise it becomes a high-speed revolving door of people dates and makes me dizzy and I am just not good at, nor comfortable with, juggling human beings/dates. I also like time alone and respect that need in you too. I prefer meeting in person if there's interest rather than be pen pals here. If you have an open heart and are not hanging onto disappointments of people in the past, then there's potential.
I'd just like to add...
We might have to get out of our mutual comfort zones and our immediate locations to meet but ; that’s ok, could be worth it - things will fall into place if it's meant to be. My life has thus far not followed "the program" but believe that where I have ended up thus far was meant to be.
Divorce, and the time when I was struck by a car as a kid (I was in the crosswalk) have been the worst adventures yet, but online dating may be on a par with those unnatural disasters. And, Oh My, do we really have to choose, let alone state, our body image? Cringe. If they simply had an option called "very fit", that's the one I would pick as I am neither average nor an Olympic athlete; some of the profiles I read do attest to staggering fitness levels! I will say that I can still out play my younger collogues at work on the basketball court (thank God for muscle memory).
I don't believe in love at first sight - that's what got me into trouble in the first place, and I've learned that compatibility is what will matter over the long haul (not infatuation), and it's only learned that you have it with someone after more than one date.
Thank you for reading my profile; and to you …Caviar Dreams and Champagne wishes.
