A little about me...
I love to write and have published two books and have written numerous columns. I have always been a good partner and friend because I am sensitive to others feelings. I enjoy making people laugh and I have a zest for living. While I am mostly congenial I can be a curmudgeon in that I abhor hypocrisy and role-playing. I cannot deceive you for I am all over the Internet and as a columnist in a daily newspaper.
I am a newsnut and stay current with current-events. I stay
neutral when writing about poltics and have found that in personal discussions with friends it can sometimes ruin an evening of camaraderie - and destroy a friendship.
This is my first venture in a people's network and so far it has been fun.
About the one I'm looking for...
I'll know her when I see her and communicate with her.
No smokers please.
I'd just like to add...
My tastes in entertainment is varied eclectic. I am a former entertainment columnist for news magazines and radio. There is enjoyment in all - from musicals to opera, from country to soft rock. Still haven't caught on to rapping yet. I am a die hard Steelers, Penquins and Pirate fan as well as a K.C. Royals and Chiefs follower.
I enjoy the outdoors but I am not much of hunter or animal killer. I enjoy reading, especially American History. I have written some successful poems and stories on American heroes and folklore.
A great "romatic" relationship can only be achieved when both parties truly embrace the meaning of "romance" - The iniital flowers, dinners, hand-holding, smiles, winks and kisses are the stepping stones to a new exciting adventure in which there may not be an escape for both can trapped in a loving, lasting romance of sharing, caring and protecting. I think Shakespeare would agree, "Tis a comsummation devoutly to be wished."
