A little about me...
Country gentleman, retired professional, recent widower. I am a positive, healthy , content retiree with a youthful feel for and view of life.
We are all on this "wild ride" on the planet Earth. Every day we spin completely around while hurtling through space at such a speed we travel completely around our sun in 365 spins! The Earth, the Sun, indeed the entire universe is taking us somewhere at speeds we can not comprehend. What a wild ride.
I need some one to ride with!
About the one I'm looking for...
Most important is honesty, positive self esteem, and the realization that we all are imperfect. Low key or no religion. Healthy lifestyle, enjoys living on the earth.
I'd just like to add...
I am a young "69". Widowed and content living alone, but.....life and its vastness is best shared. There are times when sharing can validate and enhance our existence...a sight, an event, a touch..I don't want to own you, change you, or embarrass you. Just looking for some one to share time and space with on an as needed basis.

My Top Interests:
Shopping and Collecting
Mankind used to travel thousands of miles on foot or by camel just to get an ounce of pepper! That ounce was worth a king's wages. Now, one trip by car to a mega store and we can purchase a dozen varieties by the pound for less than an hours wages! I marvel at the age in which I live and the opportunities presented by it. I tend to collect items that reflect that and provide an appreciation for our past.
Put a child in a crib and the first thing they will do, after crying, is try to get out. Like that child, I can't imagine setting in my house and not wanting to get out...and see the world. I try to travel as often as possible. I appreciate the convenience of air travel. The TSA, however has created frustrations. I own an RV and find it much more enjoyable for seeing the U.S.
Why is it we are so fearful of death, yet let our minds die before our bodies? They say we live in "the information age". I'd like to gather as much as possible to build an enjoyable life in the years ahead. Knowledge got me where I am. I see no reason to stop learning now.
