A little about me...
I like old Levi's and new underwear. I like women in hats and baseball caps. I like the look in a woman's eyes just before laughter escapes her lips. I like everything Willie Nelson has ever done, and Tchaikovsky's only violin concerto. I live in a loft downtown and collect contemporary art. I've included some pictures of my loft because I think one's living environment tells a lot about them. I backpacked Europe as a long-haired hippie back in the 70's. There is still a little bit of hippie in me I hope to never lose
I love listening to music and I’ve spent way too much money on stereo equipment. Favorite music includes Van Morrison and Boz Skaggs. If you actually own "Dig" by Boz, you get bonus points.
I'm not lonely, morose, or unhappy. I am not a couch potato, but I do enjoy the Chiefs and the Royals as well as a few favorite TV shows. I prefer listening to my stereo, or walking to The Phoenix for live music
I have a good relationship with my libido. It seems to have survived all the relationships but it does not control me. I think intimacy is important to a relationship and provides mental and physical pleasure to both. (By intimacy, I don’t just mean sex). If you think its a duty or a chore, well... jeez, that's too bad.
About the one I'm looking for...
While I don't think you should necessarily be wearing your daughter's cloths, I do hope that you have not stopped evolving. I'm looking for a woman that keeps abreast of the changing world - politically, culturally, and, yes, fashion-wise - and is willing to incorporates new ideas into her lifestyle. That doesn't mean that she should change according to the latest fashion.(Quentin Crisp once said that fashion is for those who don't have style). But what I mean is that we should all be willing to continually edit ourselves so as to refine who, and what we are and to replace old ideas with better ones. It's hard to turn loose of ideas that we've held for so long, but just because we've held a belief for a long time does not mean you can't change it . I don't think you grow old because your age increases each year, you grow old because you stopped growing..
I'd just like to add...
You don't have to be within 50 miles, or even 500 miles. If you find something of interest in these words, say hi. Let's talk. Stay open to new things even though they may originate from a distance.
