A little about me...
Well hello there!
I’ve been told for 5 years “Don’t have an agenda about finding someone- it will just happen!” I used to turn heads when I was younger but became invisible around age 40. I now wear bright colored clothing hoping to alleviate that problem.
My ‘Wonder Bread’ years were on a farm in Ohio where my Father could fix, build, or grow anything. I’m told I have those genes. I have a hidden garden and own power tools. I’m very arty/creative and my home is eclectic. I love critters, but at the moment I’m critter-less.
I’ve accepted the fact that I may live alone the rest of my life (you can prove me wrong). I would be a great partner. I have no kids, no parents, no pets, and no siblings within 1200 miles. I’m independent, hard working, clever, compassionate, spontaneous, smarter than I give myself credit, and adventurous. I love to travel- around the block, the country, or the world. I can be sarcastic and I really enjoy double entendres. If I appear to be quiet- I’m not. I’m busy observing. I’m a quick wit and love to make people laugh. I’m not high-maintenance but always want to look nice. You never know- I could be meeting you around the next corner.
About the one I'm looking for...
Gentlemen, the first thing I look at is your eyes. If you have a twinkle- that’s a bonus. You can speak volumes with your eyes- even in a photo. If you’re wearing sunglasses…how can I tell? If we ever meet- show your true colors- don’t be a chameleon. Facial hair is a plus but not necessary. I seem to be drawn to A-type personalities. I like strong, confident, knowledgeable men. Someone who is my best friend, compatible, honest, dependable, and enjoys the time we have together. Someone that will make my heart beat a little faster (just thinking about him) and make me melt with a touch of a finger. You have to be more intelligent than I am because I’m always asking questions and it would be nice if you could answer them. A Mensa mind is not required, just someone who likes to teach and share. I admire wordsmiths. If I end up with a good friend= great. If I end up with a good friend and a partner= fantastic. If I end up with a good friend, a partner, and a lover= bonus!!! Brace yourself! Distance is not an issue. I would gladly move for you if you are my knight in shinning armor. (Slight tarnish and a few dents acceptable).
I'd just like to add...
I‘m a good amateur photographer and always on the back side of the camera… unless I’m taking selfies. I have a good time at Halloween (make all my costumes) and it seems that is the only time that I get in front of the camera which may explain some of the photos. I also like to bike & hike, ski, ride my motorcycle, and write a naughty limerick now and then. I love the movies, theater, music, concerts, dancing, and cooking new recipes. I enjoy attending sporting events, festivals, art shows, and museums. If traveling and I happen on a local festival= bonus. Love sampling the local fare. When I’m near an ocean- I always walk in the water- no matter how cold. (It’s means you’ll be back). Now a little bit of my philosophy: Just recently I finally figured out the definition of the word LOVE. I made it an acronym… Levels Of Varied Emotions. Think about it. What’s your definition? I also believe that all relationships are based on the 3 L’s…. Like, Lust, and Love. One seldom has all 3 L’s at the same time, but if and when you do- consider yourself a rich man.
I’ll get off my soapbox now. Sorry, this in not available in Cliff Notes.

Nature and Outdoors
Love to explore and always have the camera ready. It sure would be more fun to share adventures with someone.
There is nothing more exciting than packing a few things for a road trip, or catching a train, or boarding a plane, or a cruise ship, jumping on a motorcycle- or on the back of a horse. As long as it's something that moves and takes me to new places- count me in!
