Greeting

A little about me...
I love being physically active outdoors. Winter is my favorite season but rowing is my favorite sport. I also xc ski, snowshoe, swim, bike and I'd like to do more hiking. I also love intellectual activities, such as reading, lectures, watching PBS, reading the NY Times and discussing current events, politics, economics, etc. I'm very outgoing and love engaging with all kinds of people, but I need my quiet time, too. I also love to travel.

About the one I'm looking for...
I'm looking for someone who loves the outdoors, not especially in the same ways that I do. I would also like someone who loves to read and stay up on current events, someone who likes to laugh and be silly at times, someone who is emotionally stable and communicative, someone who enjoys being together while also having time apart to follow individual interests.

I'd just like to add...
Before moving to the Upper Valley full-time in 2012, I was a psychologist in private practice in Lexington, MA. Before I became a psychologist, I was a high school math teacher. After I became a psychologist, in addition to private practice, I taught at Brandeis University for seven years. I continue part-time in private practice here. As well as enjoying the abundant outdoor activities in the Upper Valley, I'm also enjoying some of the ILEAD courses and trying out events at the HOP, Northern Stage and the Lebanon Opera House.

I lived in Japan in the early 70s and have traveled throughout Asia, most recently China (Christmas '08). I would love to visit New Zealand, see more of Europe, as well as the US and Canada.
