Greeting

A little about me...
I've had a very interesting life, looking back, but have never had a good solid marriage, nor children, which is a loss I live with daily, but have adjusted to. My work has been important to me and I am grateful I can still practice my profession on a part-time basis. I've lived in other countries and climates, yet ended up back here in New England - enduring the winters after all!

About the one I'm looking for...
I'm usually attracted to people who are intelligent, educated, thoughtful and kind, who love life and have a good sense of humor. I guess I take for granted that they would be in good health and reasonably fit, as well as "sane"! I enjoy music and the arts, and outdoor activities, though not as much as I used to. I am active in my community, and in a large choral group which performs in concert twice a year. Would like to meet someone with enthusiasm!

I'd just like to add...
My work is demanding--I am a health-care professional--and I love to unwind by going out to dinner with a friend, or a movie, or a theater show--but also love just staying home to relax quietly. I have found it is important to have a balance in your life: fun, and quiet; contemplation, and partying; service to others, and staying home to build a rock wall. I believe true friendship to be one of the greatest gifts in one's life... In recent years I have served as Chair of Music in my church, and am truly challenged by it. Managing to provide accompanists without a budget, bringing the choir back after years of inactivity, and running a concert series keep me busy. I enjoy social life that is not related with my responsibilities...
