A little about me...
I now work as a public information officer at a prison and was once a reporter, so I'm curious about many things. I love music, photography, nature, gardening, Unity and my kitty family. I'm interested in politics and what's happening in the world and my viewpoint leans toward the liberal. I grew up on a farm so I appreciate the country but I've also learned to love cities. I like to read, am pretty computer literate and generally enjoy life. In the last six months or so I've also become a "gym rat" and enjoy working out, even though it's hard work!
About the one I'm looking for...
Intelligence atracts my attention, as do a sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. I'm not interested in finding a husband right now but I would enjoy quality male companionship and talking and doing things with someone who's interesting and has a good heart. I'm a softie for animals, particularly cats, and I definitely prefer someone who likes animals and understands their worth.
I'd just like to add...
Music is a real interest of mine -- classic rock and roll, blues, some New Age .. (yes, I like Jim Brinkman and Yanni), folk; I am active, motivated, enjoying movies, the theatre, nature walks, scenic spots where I can shoot photos. I love to laugh. I also enjoy sports, especially Jayhawk basketball. Though I generally listen to NPR, I've been known to listen to sports radio, because I like to stay informed about all sports.

My Top Interests:
News and Politics
I've been a political junkie since I was a kid.. (Can't help myself :)) Like to be well informed, even if I don't like what's going on.
Nature and Outdoors
I grew up in the country and I've always appreciated the serenity and beauty of the outdoors.
Music can be soothing, exciting, emotional.... nearly every feeling can be expressed musically, and I appreciate that.
